Comfort Inn

We have been traveling for a week and needed to do laundry. The dryer at the hotel was broken so we went to a laundromat but didn’t have any Canadian cash/coins. By the time we got some, the laundromat was scheduled to close in 30 min. We went back to the hotel to ask about using only the washer and hang drying our clothes. Becky Hemauer was at the front desk and was more than accommodating. I got my things put into the washer but no water went into the basin. Becky was so incredibly kind and offered to wash our things in the industrial washer. I was at the point where I was so exhausted from traveling all day, at my wits end, we needed clean clothes and Becky completely saved the day. She got our things washed quickly and offered extra hangers if we needed them. I cannot say enough positive things about Becky. She took a very stressful situation for me and made it work. THANK YOU BECKY!!

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's away from noisy traffic but walkable to a major grocery store. It was soooo clean and the beds and pillows were really comfortable. The service and staff were friendly and available to help. Nice little breakfast with hot coffee and mini belgian waffles. A genuine little gem of a hotel and highly recommended. I would stay here again.

Room was spacious and the beds were awesome. Nice quiet nights sleep The reception could use a little customer service training.

Nice place to stay and it's close to Old Fort Erie. Trisha M, and the front desk staff are always outstanding. They are very patient and thorough. Rooms clean, and there is hot coffee in the lobby 24/7. Plenty of parking and there is a supermarket, drug store and bank around the corner on Garrison Road. Fenced in picnic area outside with tables and a grill.

Got stuck in Fort Erie after being refused entry to the U.S on my UK passport. Came across this place who put me up for the night. Staff were amazing even let me use their printer and scanner to process documents even after I had checked out. Thank you Becky and Andrew you were so helpful and the lady from the night before I didnt catch her name. Bravo!

OK, why would I give this hotel a 5 star? ... Because I can! My experience: Rm 221 A clean room with all you need and more. All is functional. (however, there is stuff for management to look into as well :) WiFi (no password... so I recommend you use VPN) There is free coffee 24 hours if you wish. This can be a big bonus for some, a treat as well. The coffee is; as well, good :) There are two queen size beds in this room. The room faces the parking area and beyond, so you can keep an eye on your vehicle, and this is as well close to the main entrance. The light from outside is blocked pretty well at night with a white plastic guard. There is a closet, a microwave, a desk and 2 chairs, a TV, a fridge, a phone, a coffee maker, a mirror, an iron and an ironing board, a hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner, alright hand soap soap and some kiquid soap as well, a good toilet, good two ply toilet paper, lots of towels, including body towels... There is always hot water. Actually, you can get good tasting water and super hot from your tap. There is no need to go downstairs to get hot water for your tea/coffee. There is no need to use the coffee maker in the room as well. The breakfast is plenty. We are vegetarians, so oats, muffins, fruit, yogurt, toast (different breads, plenty to choose from... even bagels. You can also have waffles, cereal, eggs, little sausages, etc. *However, no breakfast after 9:30, though! The water for your oats comes from the coffee maker (regular, 10oz cup, expresso (5oz), and hot water options. Picnic benches... you can have your breakfast outside as well. When/If you use the AC, use "Low Fan", not auto ir high. Otherwise, the aur would be too strong and noisy. This hotel is fully functional. * I do recommend this hotel! For Management: When a new client is coming in, make an effort to allow someone to feel welcome at all times. The light in this room does not seem to be enough at night due to lamp distribution (the side by the window has no light. The shower, something drips a bit after closed (this is not a big deal at all) -> The sink (wash your hands) does not drain properly, as the cap can not be elevated any further bad design. [There are 2x 110v wall outlets in the night table shared... none other that could see in the room without looking too hard. OK, some by the bed, bottom, 5 of them, and 2 in the washroom]

This location is our go-to. Becky and the entire staff are the reason we keep returning. All staff are kind and helpful. Their rooms are clean, breakfast served is deliscious and location is convenient. We return every year!! To their management, your staff all needs to be recognized for their hard work and friendliness!!!

It's a little off the beaten path however we had a king room with jacuzzi, the staff are friendly and the motel is clean also very quiet not busy at all. This could be a bad thing for them business wise but I just think its because of its location. We had to leave at 4am before breakfast but the front desk staff made sure we had something before we left, fresh fruit toast cereal yogurt, juice coffee or tea. Will return again

Rooms were really clean and comfortable. Only thing we were here for Crystal beach and it was about a 15 to 20 minute drive but overall was pleasantly surprised. Continental free breakfast was nice and fresh as well

Excellent value for the price and good service. I arrived earlier than anticipated, and they let me check in early. My room was clean. The bed was warm and the pillow selection good. Typical small chain breakfast fare, with around the clock coffee, tea and hot cocoa. Close to the city and bridge but without traffic sounds. Typical noise in the halls and poor insulation, but thankfully all concluded by 930. One draw back I brought to their attention: the shower curtain doesn't close all the way, and this allows water to puddle between the shower and toilet. Not really a slip hazard so much as a long-term water-damage issue.
